A look at what's been happening....

A great community effort initiated by Matt Tacey following the collapse of Christian Eriksen during the Euro football tournament this year has enabled residents of Wingerworth to have a defibrillator installed in their community.

Matt decided to raise funds following the incident and we got in touch with him following a post we saw about it on social media. The fantastic support of the community meant that they were able to contribute a significant amount towards the cost of the equipment, which helped us enormously as our funds are low due to Covid.

We’d like to say a huge thankyou to Matt for all his hard work with this, including arranging installation, and also to the Wingerworth community for their generosity which ultimately made this possible.

The defib has been registered with East Midlands Ambulance Service and is available to helps save lives 24/7.
